Two of Debussy’s most famous and most highly performed piano works are included in this concert band setting. Girl With The Flaxen Hair is taken from his first set of twelve Preludes and includes rich and unusual harmonies throughout.  Reverie was one of Debussy’s first works for solo piano and incorporates what would later become known as the “Debussy sound.”  Both works come to life in this exquisite setting for concert band by the-ever-so-talented Jim Mahaffey..
